Senior Engagement Lead – Clean Air

The Senior Engagement Lead – Clean Air will:

• Build and expand CEEW's work on air quality governance and data analytics at national, state, and city levels
• Support team leadership in developing strategy and plans for the Clean Air programme aligned with institutional and government priorities
• Generate and pursue leads at state and city government levels to expand use of CEEW tools and methods for air quality forecasting and management
• Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team of Programme Associates and Research Analysts on day-to-day operations

This role creates positive change by generating data and evidence to drive scalable action and strengthen the capacity of governments and industries through institutional collaborations towards improving India's air quality, working across multiple verticals including crop residue management, clean cooking, solid waste management, industrial pollution management, clean construction, air quality governance, and air quality data analytics & forecasting.

Required qualifications and skills:

• PhD or master's degree in environmental studies, environmental engineering or related fields
• 5-8 years of experience in air quality domain with government engagement at city and state levels
• Sound understanding of India's air quality policy and regulatory environment
• Excellent project management, written and oral communication skills
• Competent in using statistical and spatial analytical tools (knowledge of R/Python is an advantage)
