Senior DOT Compliance Instructor (Remote)

• Provide step-by-step instruction on pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company policy.
• Facilitate training sessions on DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and company safety policies.
• Ensure West and Central field operations comply with DOT and FMCSA requirements, manage Driver Qualification Files, and conduct internal audits.
• Travel 70–80% to job sites to support field operations, investigate incidents, and promote a culture of safety.

This role ensures safe and compliant transportation operations in the solar energy industry, directly supporting the transition to renewable energy by maintaining high safety standards and regulatory compliance.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in field training, commercial transportation, fleet safety compliance, or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in DOT training, safety instruction, or compliance oversight required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Public Safety, Logistics preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work, law enforcement or military experience may be considered.
• CVSA North American Standard Level 1 Certification (Part A and B) required or ability to obtain.
