Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Weather Forecasts to lead our weather forecasting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing weather forecasting strategies that meet the needs of our customers. This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong understanding of weather forecasting principles, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement weather forecasting strategies that meet the needs of our customers
• Lead a team of weather forecasters to ensure accurate and timely weather forecasts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure weather forecasts are integrated into our products and services
• Stay up-to-date with the latest weather forecasting technologies and techniques
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in weather forecasting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful weather forecasting strategies
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest weather forecasting technologies and techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
