Senior Director, Technology

• Lead the strategic direction of NTC's technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital innovation, including the implementation of a technology roadmap and AI strategy.
• Serve as the primary convener for the internal AI Taskforce and external strategic partnerships, aligning cross-functional teams and technology providers.
• Partner with Program and other internal teams to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into NTC's core offerings, establishing sustainable pathways for scaling programmatic enhancements.
• Oversee NTC's cybersecurity posture and data governance, serving as the primary technical point of contact for district data privacy and security agreements.

This role directly enhances NTC's ability to deliver high-quality educator support through emerging technologies, including AI, while ensuring alignment with the organization's commitment to teaching and learning as fundamentally human work, thereby improving educational outcomes for students.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in technology management, strategic planning, and project management.
• 5+ years of people management experience, including hiring, developing, and evaluating performance.
• Proven track record of implementing AI/ML strategies and navigating emerging tech trends; deep understanding of AI frameworks and ethical implications in education.
