Pioneering Medicines: Senior Director, R&D Program Management

Core responsibilities:

• Manage projects of high complexity, including with novel modalities, all enabled by collaboration with Flagship platform companies
• Develop and manage strategically important partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and other Flagship companies
• Establish best practices for Pioneering Medicines' existing and future programs
• Work as Program Manager for at least one program at any given time, managing risks, issues, resources, constraints and stakeholders

This role creates positive change by developing life-changing treatments for patients through innovative drug development platforms and strategic partnerships that accelerate therapeutic innovation.

Required qualifications:

• Scientific degree plus one advanced degree (MS, MBA or PhD)
• 8+ years of direct program management experience
• 8+ years' experience in drug discovery development field or scientific functional experience
• 6+ years early drug development Program Management experience
• Scientific/research background, preferably in Metabolic, Cardiovascular, and/or renal disease areas
• Experience in multiple modalities (e.g., RNA-based therapies, biologics/antibodies, small molecule)
• Strong understanding of biopharmaceutical landscape and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $204,000 - $280,500
