Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute public services campaigns on revenue and anti-austerity
  • Develop offensive campaigns to win funding for public services at state and local levels by taking on corporate actors
  • Coordinate and convene local unions and community groups to provide strategic campaign support for Bargaining for the Common Good tables
  • Help oversee campaign directors and researchers working with partner organizations to build community-labor partnerships and run strategic corporate campaigns

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • At least 12 years of experience organizing for social change, including 5+ years in strategic corporate campaigns
  • At least 3 years working in state/local community-labor partnerships aimed at winning common good demands
  • At least 3 years working in public services organizing and 3+ years managing staff
  • Deep commitment to anti-racist practices and track record of establishing credibility with predominantly women of color staff
  • Ability to work effectively in politically sensitive, high-pressure environments with strong critical thinking and time management skills
