Mission
What you will drive
- Build IPA's philanthropic pipeline and close major gifts in the $25,000+ range, including six- and seven-figure commitments for unrestricted and core institutional funding.
- Lead prospect identification and market expansion into new philanthropic markets such as AI, family offices, finance networks, effective giving communities, and the UK market.
- Manage a portfolio of major and principal gift prospects, personally solicit and close gifts, and contribute to IPA's capital campaign.
- Supervise two managers overseeing philanthropy operations and mid-level/planned giving programs, ensuring team accountability and growth.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 10+ years (Director) or 15+ years (Senior Director) of progressive frontline fundraising experience, with a track record of closing six- and seven-figure gifts.
- Experience opening new philanthropic markets or donor segments, and securing unrestricted or core institutional support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to translate research into compelling donor narratives.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM, and willingness to travel ~20%.
