Senior Director, Institutional Giving (Foundations)

Core responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of high-value institutional donors and secure transformational multi-year, multi-million-dollar foundation grants and partnerships
• Provide strategic leadership and supervision to Institutional Giving team fundraising staff, including the Associate Director, Foundation Relations and Manager, Donor Stewardship
• Lead development of compelling proposals and reports for high-dollar opportunities and ensure quality and compliance across team submissions
• Partner with VP of Institutional Giving on global health fundraising strategy, institutional donor pipeline development, and goal setting

This role creates positive change by securing transformational funding that advances Americares' global health programs, helping people and communities around the world access health in times of disaster and every day.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience as a leader of foundations fundraising teams with an established track record and professional network within the foundation community
• Demonstrated track record of success in securing foundation commitments for INGOs, preferably in health and development contexts
• Proven experience supervising and developing fundraising professionals with ability to provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and mentorship
• Deep understanding of institutional funding landscape, particularly in global health and international development

Salary: $156,293 to $171,750 annually

Location: Remote with travel 10% of the time
