Senior Director, Executive Strategy and Integration

Core responsibilities:

• Shape how Executive Office priorities move from intent to action by bringing clarity, structure, and judgment to the CEO's agenda, decisions, and commitments
• Establish discipline around priorities, guide decision readiness, and ensure accountability to maintain momentum across the Executive Office
• Lead the Executive Office and directly manage the Senior Executive Assistant and Board Engagement Manager, aligning executive coordination, board engagement, and CEO preparation into a cohesive system
• Exercise judgment on behalf of the CEO to redirect work, say no when necessary, and reinforce disciplined ways of working in service of Executive Office effectiveness

This role creates positive change by ensuring the CEO's time and attention are directed toward work that most advances Ocean Conservancy's mission to protect the ocean from today's greatest global challenges, helping create evidence-based solutions for a healthy ocean and the wildlife and communities that depend on it.

• Highly trusted senior leader with maturity, discretion, and confidence to work in deep partnership with the CEO
• Energized by complexity, comfortable holding boundaries, and skilled at translating strategic intent into consistent execution
• Experience operating with a high degree of trust and autonomy to establish discipline around executive priorities
• Ability to ensure time and attention are directed toward work that most advances organizational mission and strategic priorities
