Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a multi-year fundraising infrastructure to support Black Feminist Future's financial objectives
  • Establish and steward relationships among funders, current and prospective donors, members, and other constituents
  • Develop and oversee writing/production of fundraising materials including case statements, grant proposals, and donor reports
  • Collaborate with senior leadership team to ensure cross-department alignment of messaging and external deliverables

This role creates positive change by architecting a full-scale development program that maximizes funding streams to amplify and build the leadership of Black feminist leaders and increase the capacity of Black feminist movement building.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of development experience in organizational leadership roles
  • Experience designing and implementing successful development strategy and donor relationship management
  • Experience working with community, labor, or electoral organizations with success in developing fundraising strategy for 5-10 million dollar budgets
  • Strong experience using a race, class, gender lens in verbal and written communications
  • Prior experience successfully managing staff and building out teams
