Senior Data Platform Engineer

• Design and build scalable components for the data platform enabling high-throughput data ingestion and processing.
• Design and develop systems to store and serve batch data for analytics.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of API services and scalable event-driven applications that power the product backend.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor peers while owning and operating services in production.

Phaidra's AI-powered control systems reduce energy consumption and improve efficiency in industrial facilities, directly contributing to climate change mitigation by lowering carbon emissions.

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with significant time on distributed or data-intensive systems.
• Strong experience designing and implementing distributed systems for data ingestion, storage, and processing.
• Proven expertise building, operating, and monitoring large-scale multi-tenant systems with high availability and fault tolerance.
• Experience with batch & realtime data processing technologies such as Apache Flink.

Base salary (US): $123,760 - $200,200 depending on location tier.
