Senior Data Engineer

• Design and build a scalable, modern data warehouse (greenfield) to support business-wide analytics and future AI use cases.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources into clean, usable datasets.
• Own data modelling, schema design, and metric definitions across the business.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, BI and Finance to deeply understand data needs and translate them into scalable solutions.

By reducing empty truck miles and optimising supply chains, this role directly contributes to smarter, greener freight operations, lowering carbon emissions and improving efficiency in a $76 billion industry.

• Proven experience building and scaling data platforms end-to-end (ideally in a product-led environment).
• Strong hands-on capability across data engineering fundamentals — pipelines, modelling, warehousing.
• Experience working with modern data stacks (e.g. Snowflake/Redshift, SQLMesh, DBT, Fivetran, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g. Python).
