Senior Data Engineer (Data Management)

• Build and maintain core data management infrastructure and data pipelines that underpin all discovery efforts at Recursion
• Contribute to the development of essential SAR and chemical registration systems
• Build and maintain automations, including agentic systems, to significantly reduce manual effort in the data management team
• Collaborate with engineers, data managers, and scientists to understand requirements and build solutions for day-to-day data management needs

Your work will turn automated drug discovery into a reality and change lives by advancing the future of medicine through decoding biology.

• Experience building systems to process SAR and/or chemical structures from public or private datasets (professional experience and/or PhD level experience)
• Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field (Biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.)
• Experience with a commonly used programming language (Python, Java, C#, etc.)
• Proficient in using SQL for common data management applications

Estimated annual base range of £75,900 to £101,900, plus eligibility for annual bonus and equity compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a hybrid position with office work required at least 50% of the time.
