Senior Data Analyst and Power BI Expert

Data Analysis & Business Insights

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain analytical models, KPIs, and dashboards to measure business performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Design and execute data validation, quality control, and reconciliation processes.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations through clear, impactful reports and visualizations.
• Support predictive and statistical modelling initiatives in partnership with data engineering and data science teams.

Power BI Development & Data Visualization

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for executive and operational use.
• Implement data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations to optimize performance.
• Integrate multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, cloud data services, etc.) into unified BI solutions.
• Establish best practices for Power BI deployment, data governance, and version control.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure secure, accurate, and efficient data access.
• Train and mentor business users and junior analysts in Power BI and data visualization techniques.

This role drives data-informed decision-making across the organization, transforming business data into actionable insights that support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles.
• Strong proficiency in Data querying (SQL) and Data manipulation (Excel, Power Query, or Python/R).
• Proven experience in data modelling, cleansing, and transformation.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver business insights from large and complex datasets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
