Senior Cyber Security Cloud Engineer

• Support the delivery of ERM’s Cyber Strategy and roadmap, including embedding security into delivery lifecycles, developing threat modeling approaches, and defining cloud security controls.
• Provide subject matter expertise on cloud security and secure engineering practices to technology and business teams.
• Deliver and maintain security tooling and controls across Azure environments, and contribute to cloud security assessments and compliance activities.
• Promote secure by design principles across engineering and delivery teams, and contribute to incident investigations and remediation.

This role helps protect ERM’s digital infrastructure and client data, enabling the organization to focus on its mission of delivering environmental, health, safety, and sustainability services that create positive change for businesses and the planet.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in cyber security, cloud engineering, or a closely related role.
• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security capabilities (Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender suite, Azure AD) and ideally AWS.
• Working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, CIS, or Azure Security Benchmark.
• Hands-on scripting experience using PowerShell, KQL, or equivalent; familiarity with GitHub Advanced Security and DevSecOps practices.

Additional on-call payments on top of salary for participating in a Security Incident Response on-call rota (1 week every 4–5 weeks). Other benefits not specified.
