Mission

What you will drive

  • Act as lead transactional lawyer for development, financing, and construction of distributed battery energy storage and solar projects.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on site control, offtake agreements, regulatory approvals, project sales/acquisitions, construction contracts, and procurement.
  • Assist with project financing including debt financing, tax credit monetization, and ancillary documentation.
  • Develop legal policies, processes, contract templates, and coordinate outside counsel.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 8+ years of relevant experience including minimum 3 years transactional experience at a large law firm.
  • Energy asset project development experience required; distributed solar/battery storage experience preferred.
  • JD from top 50 law school and licensed to practice in U.S. state of residence.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
