Mission
What you will drive
- Provide legal guidance on risk management and adherence to company policies
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and other legal documents for architecture, engineering, construction, environmental, and other services
- Supervise and manage litigation including professional liability, breach of contract, and personal injury/wrongful death matters
- Provide staff with guidance on compliance with federal and provincial laws, statutes, and regulations

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Established career in construction law and legal issues related to contracts for engineering, construction, and other technical services
- Experience negotiating and drafting contracts for infrastructure projects through alternative delivery mechanisms (design-build, progressive design-build P3, EPC)
- Experience advising and providing legal support to AEC teams during procurement and delivery of heavy civil, transit, water, aviation, energy and social infrastructure projects
- Ability to work with management and staff to resolve pre-litigation disputes and potential claims
