Mission

What you will drive

  • Configure, program, integrate, and maintain SMA's utility-scale inverters' plant-level control system (SMA Power Plant Manager) for large-scale PV and BESS projects.
  • Ensure inverter and PPM functions comply with customer project expectations and grid code requirements.
  • Lead control system assessments, analyze electrical parameters, and compose documentation and schematics for PPM alignment.
  • Support integration testing, site acceptance testing, and provide technical support throughout project lifecycle.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, control systems engineering, or comparable field.
  • At least 5-8 years of professional experience in power plant controls or SCADA systems.
  • Solid knowledge of utility-scale PV and BESS system technology, including control systems, energy management systems, or communication systems.
  • Strong understanding of power system behavior at POI, grid codes, and grid-forming functionalities; experience with Modbus, DNP3, RTDS, PLCs, SCADA, and EMS.
