Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Develop and lead lending strategy for California projects with healthcare funding components, particularly Medicaid and Behavioral Health Services Act dollars
- Act as subject matter expert on underwriting Medicaid and other healthcare sources for supportive housing funding packages
- Create and support a learning cohort of housing developers utilizing healthcare system funding resources
- Market CSH's loan products, cultivate lending pipeline, and manage borrower relationships from intake through repayment
- Originate new loans, analyze feasibility of multi-family affordable housing developments, and propose loan structures
- Underwrite loans based on thorough review and analysis, and present for approval to credit committees

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in affordable or supportive housing lending or development, including experience with underwriting health-related investments
- Deep expertise in affordable/supportive housing development or finance with knowledge of healthcare funding in housing development
- Completed Bachelor's degree program
- Solid grasp of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program, Section 8, and other federal/state/local affordable housing finance programs
- Familiarity with zoning processes and land acquisition challenges for affordable housing developers
- Demonstrated success in project management and building teams to advance housing development and finance activities
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
