Senior Cloud Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Maintain current IT User Zones and IT Application Availability Groups Cloud infrastructure
• Design, plan and implement IT Infrastructure Transformation/Integration/Segregation throughout Food, Feed and Agro Testing Businesses across Europe, including installations, configuration and migrations to cloud solutions (Azure, Azure AD, Active Directory, Office 365, etc.)
• Propose and deliver solutions that best meet business needs in terms of security, cost and effectiveness
• Work closely with Server, Virtualization, Network, Application team members to deliver IT Infrastructure projects and document solutions delivered

This role drives Eurofins' major IT Infrastructure transition and transformation across Food, Feed and Agro Testing Europe Businesses, supporting the organization's testing and analysis services that contribute to food safety and quality.

Required skills and experience:

• Proven experience in Level 3 (L3) operations in enterprise-scale Azure environments with extensive hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Subscriptions, Resource Groups, Storage Accounts, Azure AD Connect, Networking (VNETs, Subnets, Peering, Network Security Groups), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Practical experience with Application Gateways, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Load Balancers, Managed Identities, Key Vaults, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Good understanding of Azure Automation, App Services, Azure Front Door, Log Analytics, Terraform, and working knowledge of cost optimization techniques, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Logic Apps, Azure Policy, Azure Update Management
• General understanding of enterprise-grade Azure architecture in hybrid environments, including hub-and-spoke topology and integration with on-premises systems
