Senior Climate Policy Analyst - NDC Implementation & Finance (f/m/d)

• Lead development and delivery of complex, multi-country projects supporting developing countries in the Caribbean and Latin America to access climate finance and implement climate action strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance and technical support to national governments on NDCs, LTS, and NAPs, ensuring alignment with the Paris Agreement and climate finance requirements.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, develop concept notes and funding proposals, and design capacity-building activities to enable climate finance access.
• Engage with senior government counterparts, regional institutions, and international partners to advance policy development and implementation.

This role directly supports developing countries in the Caribbean and Latin America to access climate finance and implement ambitious climate action strategies, contributing to global efforts to mitigate and adapt to climate change under the Paris Agreement.

• Graduate degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including 5+ years working with developing countries.
• Demonstrated expertise in climate policy, climate finance, and/or international development, with strong understanding of NDCs, NAPs, LTS, and the Paris Agreement.
• Proven track record of leading collaborative projects and partnerships in an international context, with strong project leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills; ability to provide strategic advice to senior government counterparts; proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Salary: USD $104,885 - $117,848 annual gross.
