Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead development and delivery of complex, multi-country projects supporting developing countries in the Caribbean and Latin America to access climate finance and implement climate action strategies.
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical support to national governments on NDCs, LTS, and NAPs, ensuring alignment with the Paris Agreement and climate finance requirements.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, develop concept notes and funding proposals, and design capacity-building activities to enable climate finance access.
  • Engage with senior government counterparts, regional institutions, and international partners to advance policy development and implementation.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including 5+ years working with developing countries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in climate policy, climate finance, and/or international development, with strong understanding of NDCs, NAPs, LTS, and the Paris Agreement.
  • Proven track record of leading collaborative projects and partnerships in an international context, with strong project leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills; ability to provide strategic advice to senior government counterparts; proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
