Senior Civil-Climate Resilience Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Coordinate with multidiscipline teams on projects including coastal studies, hydrology and hydraulics, flood risk management, coastal restoration, and design
• Lead resilience strategy development and design of nature-based solutions and hardscape features for flood control
• Coordinate with state and federal agencies to gain consensus and approvals for work in jurisdictional areas
• Manage schedule and budget while mentoring and training junior level staff

This role creates positive change by developing approaches to address issues related to natural disasters, climate change, and stormwater management through climate adaptation and resilience projects that protect communities and infrastructure.

Required qualifications:

• Technical expert with strong design and resilience strategy development skills
• Experience working with multidiscipline teams of planners, scientists, and engineers
• Civil engineering capabilities associated with civil design for resilience projects
• Ability to coordinate with technical disciplines including geotechnical, structural, civil, and environmental
