Senior Buyer - Technology & Indirects - 9 Month FTC

Core responsibilities:

• Business partnering with operational stakeholders (i.e. Heads of Departments and Managers)
• Contributing to the development of various category strategies (including but not limited to Software, Hardware, Professional Services, Data Services and Networks & Telco)
• Monitoring the pipeline of activity for assigned sourcing activity & negotiating low-medium value supplier contracts
• Gathering and manipulating relevant data to build and keep updated a clear view of category spend and suppliers

This role supports OVO Energy's Plan Zero mission to address the climate crisis by driving environmentally responsible procurement decisions for technology products and services, contributing to the company's zero carbon goals.

Required skills and qualifications:

• MCIPS level 4 qualified (or working towards this) with proven experience in a similar role
• Good relationship management skills, able to build trusting relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
• Great organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic negotiation skills and ability to effectively prioritize workloads

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: £32,670 - £47,041
• 15% on-target bonus based on collective performance to deliver Plan Zero goals
