Senior Business Development Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships
• Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry events, publications, and announcements
• Develop negotiating strategies and close new business deals by coordinating requirements and integrating contracts with business operations
• Lead data analysis, reporting, and knowledge management to inform business development strategy

This role contributes to designing the grid of the future through advanced energy intelligence, helping build a modern, secure, and resilient grid that transforms the future of energy and makes an impact on communities and the environment.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in science, Business Administration, or Engineering (preferred) with 7+ years of experience in high volume sales and marketing consulting services to Utilities, Renewable Energy Markets or Oil and Gas
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
• Previous experience developing and delivering presentations related to proposals, business development, and pursuit strategies
• Comfortable and confident using Salesforce as an integral part of the sales process
