Senior Business Development Director

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Originate and lead large-scale sales opportunities with commercial, industrial, and Fortune 500 clients
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through closing, with a focus on structuring and securing long-term agreements
• Build trusted, consultative relationships with executive-level stakeholders and navigate complex procurement processes
• Collaborate with engineering, project finance, and operations teams to build customized, bankable solutions

This role drives the adoption of renewable energy solutions like solar, battery storage, and microgrids for large organizations, helping them achieve sustainability goals, improve reliability, and reduce costs while accelerating the clean energy transition.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of progressive experience in business development, commercial sales, or strategic partnerships within renewable energy, distributed generation, or energy infrastructure
• Demonstrated success leading multi-million-dollar renewable energy transactions
• Experience selling into Fortune 500 clients with ability to navigate complex organizational structures and procurement processes
• Strong knowledge of solar PV, battery energy storage, and microgrid systems
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
