(Senior) BESS Solutions Engineer - Australia

• Serve as primary technical contact for Australian BESS customers, building relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales with technical discovery, data-readiness assessments, and architecture discussions.
• Lead technical onboarding, KPI rollout and validation, and performance analysis during commissioning and augmentation.
• Surface product gaps and customer feedback to Product and Engineering, and run platform training for customers.

By ensuring BESS assets are reliable and optimized, this role accelerates the energy transition and helps the world reach net zero faster.

• BESS industry experience as a performance, systems, or O&M engineer.
• Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated BESS experience.
• Comfortable with Python for analytical tasks; Databricks experience is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of lithium-ion battery behavior, degradation mechanisms, and BESS data flows (Modbus, IEC-104, OPC-UA, REST API, SFTP).
• Familiarity with the Australian National Electricity Market (NEM) and its impact on BESS operations.
