Senior Automation Software Engineer

• Analyze component requirements and produce component architecture and design specifications in compliance with SIL 0 requirements of EN 50128.
• Write interface specifications and document message formats.
• Develop component software according to coding standards and develop test scripts in Python using the in-house test framework.

This role contributes to the development of safe and reliable rail systems, enabling sustainable and efficient transportation that connects communities and reduces environmental impact.

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience in software development with demonstrated ability to produce quality design documentation.
• Experience in C++, Java or similar object-oriented languages, XML, XSLT, MySQL, and unit testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and object-oriented design.
