What you will drive
- Develop and lead litigation in federal and state courts to advance Earthjustice's mission.
- Conduct administrative advocacy before federal agencies and state and local governments.
- Collaborate with co-counsel, client coalitions, and Earthjustice staff to develop advocacy campaigns and strategy.
- Train and mentor colleagues and contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school and active bar membership in working location.
- 6+ years of litigation experience preferred.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Initiative, judgment, collegial work style, and strong work ethic; ability to travel.

Salary ranges by location: San Francisco/NYC $173,100-$222,800; Seattle/Honolulu/DC/Chicago/LA $164,400-$211,700; Anchorage/Juneau/Denver/Philadelphia $155,800-$200,500; Houston/Tallahassee/Miami/Bozeman $147,100-$189,400; Remote $147,100-$222,800. Mission-focused work environment, Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible.
