Mission
What you will drive
- Lead and contribute to original analysis of global methane import standards and their potential to activate low-methane leakage gas markets in the US.
- Build and lead high-trust stakeholder relationships with policymakers, regulators, researchers, NGOs, oil and gas companies, and financial institutions to advance policy and market-based methane reduction efforts.
- Implement and execute delivery of projects, tasks, and work streams including change models, research methods, timelines, communications plans, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with other RMI initiatives and programs to drive joint analysis and outcomes related to the energy transition and oil and gas.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelorโs degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., energy economics, energy policy, chemical or environmental engineering, climate science, data science, environmental science).
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience OR a M.S. degree in a related field plus 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, including the ability to break down complex issues in a straightforward, rational manner.
- Self-direction and ability to balance concurrent requests and priorities.
