Senior Acoustician

• Manage and deliver noise analysis tasks for major transportation, construction, energy, and development projects across the U.S.
• Perform and supervise predictive analyses with spreadsheet-based tools and commercially available software.
• Perform and supervise acoustical measurements, noise surveys, and investigations.
• Research and review regulatory criteria at the local, state, and national level.

This role contributes to sustainable infrastructure by ensuring noise and vibration impacts are minimized for communities and the environment, supporting AECOM's mission to deliver a better world.

• Utilizes advanced scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop technical solutions to complex problems.
• Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and regulations.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.
• May oversee the work of junior level staff.
