Senior Accounting Associate (Full Time, Remote)

As Senior Accounting Associate, you will:

• Oversee financial transactions for outgoing vendor payments via our AP system, Ramp, ensuring timely and accurate processing of checks and electronic transfers
• Manage posting of check donations, ACH, and wire transfers, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation in collaboration with the Development Team
• Support the Senior Accounting Manager with monthly and annual close processes and general ledger upkeep
• Contribute to improving financial processes and systems, including supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc projects, reporting, and communications

This role supports Accelerate Change's mission to increase civic engagement with BIPOC and low-income communities through digital media by ensuring smooth financial operations that enable effective program delivery and organizational growth.

We're looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations with strong track record in vendor payments, invoice verification, and financial reconciliations
• Detail-oriented professional with keen attention to detail and track record of delivering error-free work
• Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with external stakeholders and internal teams
• Commitment to social change and alignment with values of equity and inclusion
