Senior Account Executive

• Source new leads and connect with prospects. Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities.
• Close new deals. Own an account list, carry a quota and develop plans for winning and expanding business with government customers.
• Articulate the value of Forerunner. Conduct demos and showcase domain knowledge to high-value prospects.
• Prioritize the sales pipeline to align with business goals. Adapt to shifting priorities in a startup environment.
• Develop scalable sales strategies. Contribute to setting up the sales team for ongoing success as an early member.
• Contribute to product strategy. Engage with Product and Engineering teams based on field learnings.

This role helps local governments manage risk, strengthen resilience, and prepare for the future by building relationships and turning prospects into users of Forerunner's software, which simplifies critical workflows like floodplain management and disaster recovery.

• 7+ years of SaaS sales experience. Creative problem-solving mindset and go-getter attitude essential. Experience in Public Sector SaaS highly preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals. Eager to contribute to growth in a small startup.
• Excellent, empathetic communicator. Build trust as the first point of contact for potential customers through written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity. Nimble in prioritizing work and willing to take on additional responsibility in a learning environment.

• Competitive compensation with OTE of $200,000-$265,000 based on hitting goals, plus uncapped commission with accelerators
