What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Support seed networks across southern or western England through training, mentoring, and routes to market
  • Engage with groups and individuals through events, workshops, and talks
  • Collaborate with the Seed Sovereignty Programme team remotely to share best practices and develop national delivery
  • Support the design, organization, and delivery of training sessions and workshops for diverse participants

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Understanding of agroecology, small-scale seed production, seed sovereignty, and open-pollinated varieties
  • Experience with seed saving and agroecological seed systems
  • Confident with social media, websites, and online working platforms for communication
  • Strong written communication skills for blogs, social media posts, and funding reports
  • Ability to build strong, respectful relationships and work collaboratively
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously while valuing collective strength
