Sector Specialist

Core responsibilities for this Sector Specialist role:

• Provide financial and technical support to governments in Latin America and the Caribbean
• Drive progress in key sectors including health, education, infrastructure, and climate action
• Develop and implement projects that reduce poverty and improve lives in the region
• Collaborate with public sector entities through IDB, private sector through IDB Invest, or innovation initiatives through IDB Lab

Required qualifications and experience:

• Expertise in one or more development sectors (health, education, infrastructure, climate action, etc.)
• Experience working with governments or in international development contexts
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Ability to work in multicultural environments and adapt to different contract types (staff, consultant, etc.)
