Scientific Analyst

• Work closely with mineral exploration project teams to understand exploration activities, geoscience, and KoBold's technology deployment across global jurisdictions.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and visualizations summarizing exploration progress, hypotheses, or planned work programs.
• Partner with project leads to build and maintain budget forecasts, track actuals, and implement process improvements for data workflows and reporting.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for drilling campaigns, technology investments, or regional exploration initiatives.

This role supports the discovery of critical metals like copper and lithium using AI and novel sensors, enabling more efficient mineral exploration to meet accelerating demand for electric vehicles, renewable energy, and data centers.

• Education in science or math (geoscience, physics, chemistry, astronomy/astrophysics, or mathematics preferred).
• Experience with Python or other scientific computing language.
• At least 1 year of experience in technology, natural resources, or finance.
• Intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, and ability to collaborate with domain experts and colleagues across the company.

Salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 plus equity and benefits. The role is full-time exempt, with flexibility for remote work in specified locations and occasional travel (1-3 trips per year).
