Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Support MacDowell's transition to and ongoing use of Salesforce in collaboration with existing IT consultants and staff
  • Assume primary responsibility for maintaining and improving the Salesforce platform and maximizing functionality for users
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for user support and troubleshooting
  • Work with staff leadership and department heads to continually align Salesforce tools and workflows with team and organization-wide objectives
  • Accurately document Salesforce workflows; develop training materials for new user onboarding and work with department heads to create department specific process manuals
  • Keep organizational data clean, accurate, and secure
  • Lead ethical and intentional AI integration into digital workflows and tools
  • Stay current on new tools, capabilities, and updates; advise on best practices related to Salesforce and other new technologies

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Salesforce administration for a nonprofit organization with more than 20 users
  • Proven ability to build custom applications, workflows, and third-party integrations based on organizational needs
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform, functionality and best practices, including experience with Salesforce Lightning
  • Exceptional quantitative skills with proficiency in data management, data analysis, and problem solving
  • Highly organized project manager with ability to manage multi-stage projects with diverse stakeholders
  • Warm customer service orientation and ability to create effective training materials for users with varying technology comfort levels
  • Commitment to MacDowell's core values of care for artists and a culture of belonging
  • Ability to periodically commute to the New Hampshire office (~2x/month) and valid driver's license
