How to Apply for Sales Manager
at Ambrook
🏢 About Ambrook
Ambrook is rebuilding financial infrastructure for American family-run businesses, replacing legacy systems with modern tools for accounting, banking, and spending. Backed by Thrive Capital, Dylan Field, and Homebrew, the company is at the intersection of industry, climate, and economy. Working here means joining an early-stage Series A startup with a mission to empower independent operators.
About This Role
As Sales Lead, you'll build and run the sales function from scratch, personally closing strategic accounts while coaching a team of three reps. You'll design playbooks, set targets, and decide where AI/automation can amplify efforts. This role is impactful because you'll directly shape how Ambrook grows and helps family businesses become more profitable.
💡 A Day in the Life
You'll start by reviewing pipeline metrics with your team, then hop on a few strategic account calls to close deals. After lunch, you might refine the sales playbook or experiment with an AI tool to automate follow-ups. The afternoon includes a 1:1 coaching session with a rep and a cross-functional meeting with product to discuss customer feedback.
