at envelio

🏢 About envelio

envelio is on a mission to drive the energy transition with intelligent grid solutions, fostering a global impact. With a humble, diverse team of over 150 envelians from 20+ nationalities, they value ownership, growth, and a love for what they do. Their culture blends geek humor, emojis, and random facts, making it a unique place to work.

About This Role

As a Sales Engineer, you'll bridge technical and commercial aspects, helping utilities and grid operators adopt envelio's intelligent grid software. Your work directly accelerates the energy transition by enabling smarter, more sustainable grids worldwide. You'll own the technical sales process, from demos to proof-of-concepts, and collaborate closely with product and customer success teams.

💡 A Day in the Life

Your day might start with a remote stand-up with the sales team, discussing leads and strategies. You'll then conduct a product demo for a potential client, addressing their technical questions about grid integration. After lunch, you'll collaborate with product managers to relay customer feedback, and end the day by preparing a proposal for a proof-of-concept project.

🎯 Who envelio Is Looking For

  • You have a background in electrical engineering, energy systems, or a related field, with a strong understanding of grid operations and the energy transition.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into compelling value propositions for diverse stakeholders.
  • You are self-driven and thrive in a remote, ownership-focused culture, with a passion for continuous learning and adapting to new challenges.
  • You have experience in technical sales or pre-sales, ideally in the energy or software industry, and are comfortable with demoing software solutions.

Research envelio's product (e.g., GridOS) and mention specific features or benefits you find compelling in your cover letter.
