Role Overview
The Sales Account Lead is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of advertiser and sponsor relationships. This role combines relationship management, consultative sales, and light strategy—ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible, part-time environment and enjoys working directly with clients.

Sales & Business Development
- Prospect and qualify new leads aligned with the company’s audience and offerings
- Pitch advertising, sponsorship, and custom media solutions
- Support deal structuring, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with leadership on revenue strategy and pipeline management

Account Management & Revenue Growth
- Manage a portfolio of existing advertising, sponsorship, and media partner accounts
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients and agency partners
- Identify renewal opportunities across media offerings
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts

Campaign Coordination
- Work with Carbon Herald team to ensure smooth execution
- Monitor performance and support client reporting and wrap-ups

Reporting & Forecasting
- Track sales activity, pipeline, and revenue performance
- Provide regular updates on renewals, new deals, and account health

Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in media sales, advertising sales, sponsorships, or related roles
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- Comfort working independently and managing multiple accounts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with newsletters or trade publications preferred
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) a plus

Compensation
- Monthly retainer-based compensation, plus commission.
- Compensation commensurate with experience
