Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Implementation of Safeguarding Policy/s and Code of Conduct and operationalising strategic plans for mainstreaming safeguarding in the country program
  • Awareness raising in the country program on the value of safeguarding and the MSF approach
  • Delivering safeguarding and other relevant/associated training to leadership and wider teams
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to country teams on developing, implementing and mainstreaming safeguarding

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and experience:

  • At least two years' experience working in a safeguarding function or in a role with significant safeguarding responsibilities
  • Experience in designing and implementing training and awareness raising on safeguarding
  • Up to date knowledge of safeguarding legislation, regulations and best practice
  • Demonstrated understanding of inclusive practices and promotion of diversity
  • Experience dealing with highly sensitive issues
  • Excellent communication skills, able to operate with sensitivity and diplomacy
  • Ability to work independently and display strong initiative in day-to-day problem solving with limited direction
