Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Work with nonprofit housing organizations, local governments, and Tribal governments to increase their capacity, assess market needs, and facilitate project/program planning
  • Deliver direct technical assistance and services, coordinate with other staff, and maintain regular communications with clients and funding agencies
  • Develop action plans to increase clients' housing development capacity and conduct compliance reviews
  • Prepare written reports, document activities, and deliver technical training at conferences, workshops, and via webinars

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Four years of experience in affordable rental housing development/financing, Federal funding programs (HOME, CDBG, Low-income housing tax credits), Tribal housing, single-family construction, or manufactured home communities
  • Knowledge of government housing programs and regulations, and tribal housing programs and regulations
  • Project management and housing finance experience
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, deliver trainings, work independently, and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
