Mission

What you will drive

  • Coordinate daily ROC operations, including shift handoffs, task prioritization, and workload distribution across the analyst team.
  • Mentor and develop junior Operations Analysts on monitoring best practices, alert triage, and escalation procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze day-to-day performance data for ESSโ€™s distributed solar portfolio to identify equipment outages and underperformance.
  • Serve as primary escalation point for complex alerts and lead development of standard operating procedures.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 3-4 years of experience in solar PV fleet monitoring or remote operations, with distributed generation strongly preferred.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a technical field (electrical engineering preferred) or equivalent experience in solar operations.
  • Established experience with commercial DAS/monitoring platforms (e.g., Also Energy, Power Factors, SolarEdge), SCADA systems, and network communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, or lead technical team members; prior team lead or shift supervisor experience preferred.
