Risk & Regulatory Compliance Officer

Core responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor policies to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards, including FCA, GDPR, and SOC2 compliance
• Create and implement a risk management framework, including maintaining the organizational Risk Register and conducting risk assessments
• Serve as Data Protection Officer and manage all privacy governance activities including DPIAs, staff training, and data subject request processes
• Support Arc's legal restructure in 2026 by coordinating structural, tax, employment, and governance workstreams

This role ensures Climate Arc maintains high standards and regulatory compliance while enabling operational excellence and innovation, supporting the organization's mission to accelerate the global transition to a resilient future by unlocking capital and building capacity for climate solutions.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field (advanced degrees desirable)
• 4-6 years of deep expertise in risk management and/or compliance with experience developing policies and frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, ethical judgment, and communication skills with legalistic mindset
• Ability to navigate multiple regulatory landscapes across geographies and sectors, with familiarity with FCA expectations advantageous

Salary range: £55,000 to £65,000
