Review Specialist

• Serve as a primary evaluator of accreditation applications, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely review.
• Evaluate pre-applications and applications, prepare documentation, and facilitate discussions with commissioners.
• Engage with land trusts to build relationships and provide guidance on accreditation policies and procedures.

This role ensures that land trusts meet rigorous quality standards, fostering public trust and the long-term protection of natural places and working lands.

• Minimum 3 years of direct experience in land conservation, nonprofit management, or accreditation review systems.
• Knowledge of land trust standards and accreditation program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based databases; ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Salary range: $60,000 - $65,000 annually. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid leave, and 403(b) retirement benefits.
