What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on criminal justice, labor market, housing, and policy effectiveness related to record clearance
- Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, focus groups, surveys, secondary data analysis) to inform research agenda
- Lead analysis and dissemination of findings from stakeholder surveys and develop state-level case studies
- Co-author white papers, policy briefs, blogs, and thought pieces to establish CSI as national leader on automated record sealing

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- 5-7 years of work experience in Public Policy, Political Science, Criminal Justice/Criminology, Sociology, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience leading applied research projects and producing high-quality written outputs
- Strong mixed-methods research experience including interviews, focus groups, survey design, and secondary data analysis
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and synthesis skills with ability to translate complex findings for non-technical audiences
- Lived experience with the criminal legal system is highly valued
