Research Manager (Talent Development Team)

As Research Manager on the Talent Development team, your core responsibilities include:

• Research managing around 15 Seasonal Fellows per cohort, including weekly meetings, ensuring they set clear goals and timelines, and supporting their projects and career search.
• Contributing to the selection of fellowship cohorts through application grading, interviews, candidate recommendations, and input on selection process design.
• Contributing to the setup of fellowships by soliciting project suggestions, recruiting supervisors, pairing them with fellows, engaging guest speakers, and developing pedagogical materials.
• Contributing to the day-to-day running of the fellowship, including running events and workshops, moderating expert Q&As, and taking responsibility for the Fellows' experience.

This role creates positive change by managing and supporting talent development programmes that launch or accelerate impactful careers in AI governance and policy, increasing fellows' impact in the AI governance space by around 40% according to alumni surveys.
