- Accelerate and guide AI safety researchers, facilitating high-impact projects
- Work with mentors and scholars to provide feedback, drive projects to completion, and support career development
- May specialize in theory, engineering, management, or communication
- Spearhead internal projects and contribute to strategic planning and development of MATS

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience across project management, research management, people management, technical research, governance, or mentoring
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong listening skills and empathy
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong alignment with our mission, and familiarity with the basic ideas behind AGI safety and catastrophic AI risk

- Compensation: $130,000-$200,000 annually for Berkeley roles and £85,000-£130,000 for London roles
