Research Manager

• Lead investigations into utility monopolies blocking clean energy and increasing ratepayer costs in California.
• Work with allies and reporters to expose efforts undermining climate and clean energy progress and perpetuating energy injustice.

This role directly holds fossil-fuel and monopoly utility interests accountable, accelerating the transition to clean energy and creating a more affordable, equitable, and just energy system.

• Deep experience in energy advocacy, research, journalism, or politics.
• Ability to follow money trails, file public records requests, and dig through government records and datasets.
• Skill in distilling complex information for maximum political impact.
• Understanding of California electric and gas utilities and regulatory/policymaking apparatus.
