Research Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Lead core research management activities including research implementation, literature reviews, and report writing
• Manage and mentor junior research staff including Research Professionals and Research Associates
• Develop and manage research project budgets and track project finances
• Build the Lab's internal research project management systems and processes, using AI to automate and improve workflows

This role contributes to developing innovations with the potential to benefit millions of people in low- and middle-income countries through development economics research.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
• College or university degree in related field
• Excellent organizational skills, written communication, and high-level attention to detail
• Knowledge of and experience with field work in developing countries
• Experience conducting research including managing research teams
• Exposure to randomized control trials
• Undergraduate training in economics and econometrics
