Research Intern- Climate Negotiations

Core responsibilities:

• Contribute to research, data collection and analysis related to the enhanced transparency framework, accountability and loss and damage
• Track relevant developments in the international climate space
• Assist the team in research, report formulation, and outreach responsibilities
• Work on diverse subjects and contribute to the dynamic research environment at CEEW

This role contributes to improvising domestic arenas towards addressing climate action and developing subjects under the convention such as capacity building, transparency, and ambition gaps, ultimately supporting climate negotiations and policy development.

Required qualifications:

• Significant interest and knowledge in climate negotiations and international climate policies
• Understanding of the climate negotiations space and UNFCCC COP processes
• Sound analytical abilities and effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively to handle multiple requests simultaneously
